About Us

Master Dan Anderson

Owner

Promoted to his master’s degree in 1996 by Master Fariborz Azhakh, one of Southern California’s most prestigious masters while operating Moorpark’s American Mixed Martial Arts since 1990. As a martial arts expert in Southern California Master Anderson has studied with many of the martial arts industries icons and legends including Benny Urquidez, Dave Kovar, Dan Inosanto, Ron Balicki, Steve Sexton, Cecil Peoples, Richard Bustillo, Richard Norton, Carlos Gracie Jr., David Myer, Tom Callos, and Simon Rhee. Master Anderson has been very fortunate to have been a part and contributed to such iconic organizations such as Educational Funding Company, Martial Arts America, National Association of Professional Martial Arts just to name a few. Master Anderson has also been promoted under Grandmaster Ji Han Jae 10th Degree Black Belt and highest-ranking Instructor of worldwide Hapkido as we know it today. Dedicated to the growth of martial arts and our industry worldwide. 2023 will mark Moorpark’s American Mixed Martial Arts 34th Year serving the community and surrounding areas. 3 Generations and thousands of students have been impacted by Master Anderson as he continues to educate his students.

About Us

Mrs. Kimberly Anderson

Co-Owner /Program Director

Promoted to her 4th Degree Black Belt in 2010, Mrs. Anderson started her martial arts journey in 1984 and dedicated her life to impacting the youth of her community of Moorpark in Southern California. Mrs. Anderson’s martial background is extensive with Boxing, Hapkido, Judo, Muay Thai, Filipino Martial Arts, JKD and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on her resume. As the wife of Master Dan Anderson, she Co-Founded Moorpark’s Transported Martial Arts Program after seeing bad language and bullying as a part of that industry. Mrs. Anderson is driven to impact today’s youth whose parents are hardworking and looking for a mentor for their kids that they can trust will guide them with love, compassion and most importantly the code of conduct that can only be found in the martial arts. Mrs. Anderson is currently Co-Owner of Moorpark’s American Mixed Martial Arts and program director of their After School Program.

Ms. Jeri Doyle

Chief Instructor

Promoted to her Junior Black Belt Degree in 1998, Ms. Doyle is the daughter of Master and Mrs. Anderson. Ms. Doyle, as you can imagine, has been involved in the martial arts virtually her entire life. At age 34 her knowledge is extensive in mixed martial arts as well as the school’s daily operations and more importantly martial arts instruction. As Moorpark’s American MMA’s Chief Instructor, she oversees all class instruction as well as staff training. Ms. Doyle takes pride in inspiring and motivating the young girls as well as adult females in her school on how to defend themselves in today’s challenging world. Results speak volumes as her school boasts an almost 40% enrollment in female students. As a single parent of a little girl herself she knows firsthand the responsibility to educate her students and empower them with real world self-defense.

Mrs. Kelli Griese

AMP Service Manager

Ms. Kelli Griese started her martial arts journey in 1999 and has been a part of the Anderson’s family circle of trust for 25 years. Ms. Kelli is currently Moorpark’s Transported Afterschool Program Service Manager and oversees daily operations as well as coordinates with Mrs. Anderson on both students and parents. Ms. Kelli provides a disciplined atmosphere that nurtures growth and leadership using the martial arts code of conduct. No bullying or bad language on Ms. Kelli’s watch as she is on top of her kids with inspired fair play, study time and homework assignments. Getting kids dressed out into uniforms and prepped for class takes a focused effort. Ms. Kelli also has had both her son and daughter who is in her 4th year of training and currently preparing for her Junior Black Belt. It appears that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in the Griese Family.

Mr. Aidan Hazuka

Assistant Instructor

Mr. Aidan Hazuka started his journey in the martial arts at Moorpark’s American MMA at the young age of 10. He was promoted to his junior Black Belt Degree in 2020 and is currently preparing for his adult degree as he goes to school at Moorpark College seeking his BA in Communication. Mr. Hazuka is one of Master Anderson’s finest students and currently works as our Assistant Instructor. As a dedicated student Aiden understands the philosophy that the best teachers are even better students as he trains regularly. Mr. Hazuka takes his responsibilities very seriously and knows all his students by name. The parents and students alike love his warm spirit and giving nature as he has everyone’s best interests at heart.
